Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles exactly three years ago today. This West Coast rapper’s memory continues to live on through his family, music and die-hard fan base.

His loyal fans were sure to show out during Nipsey Hussle‘s celebration of life and funeral procession, which took place on April 11 in his hometown of L.A.

The 25-mile procession reached its terminus at the Angelus Funeral Home. Nipsey Hussle was ultimately laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park—Hollywood Hills.

A local artist paid homage to Nipsey Hussle by setting up outside the center and creating a piece.

Others took the opportunity to sell memorabilia.

Fellow rapper Mozzy was also sure to pay his respects.

It’s worth noting that many showered the front of Marathon Clothing—the site of Nipsey Hussle‘s death—with flowers, candles and other memorial items.

L.A.’s Eritrean community also showed out for the fallen artist.

Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Samiel Asghedom, and sister Samantha Smith were also spotted at the Marathon Clothing site.

During the 25-mile procession, fans lined the streets of South L.A. to catch a glimpse of Nipsey’s silver hearse.

People were also sure to live it up during the procession and truly celebrate life.

Everywhere one looked, one was able to see Nipsey Hussle being honored in a beautiful way.

The procession ultimately ended at the Angelus Funeral Home, where the rapper’s mother—Angelique Smith—was spotted in white.

The massive turnout at Nipsey Hussle’s celebration of life shows that he’s a beloved L.A. icon who continues to be dearly missed.
