Amber Rose went and she brought her bestie Blac Chyna with her this time. Where, you ask? To Trinidad Carnival, what has been affectionately dubbed “The Greatest Show on Earth.” And a show it is indeed. People from all over the planet swarm this island for a spectacle of color, culture and rum. Parties, also known as fetes, transpire all day every day for weeks leading up to the main event, Carnival! Vibrant costumes and glistening skin parade the streets until the wee hours of the morning up until Ash Wednesday. Carnival isn’t for the faint of heart and there are levels to this, but it’s a great time to be had by all. Omar Takes Pictures, a lifestyle photographer of Omega Imagery, gave us plenty of reasons to be pissed we didn’t go to Carnival this year, but here are twenty-two of them.

Although this is such a beautiful display of #MelaninOnFleek #CultureOnFleek #LifeOnFleek, I’m still upset I wasn’t there. I’ll begin planning for 2017.
