When you think of your favorite TV show, your mind likely immediately resorts to the lead actor. When you envision your favorite song, you probably start to think of the person who brought it to life through their unique sound. It’s not out of the ordinary to do so, but for Women’s History Month, let’s pay homage to the Black women behind the scenes who helped bring these lovely pieces of art to fruition. Whether it’s film, music or sports, Black women are dominating the gamut of entertainment and have been for a while. We’ve decided to pay tribute to these high-powered women executives this month and each one following.
