At the height of the pandemic in 2020, we were all in desperate need of a laugh. Enter Druski, the comedian whose viral videos parodying your faves and many other characters have amassed millions of views on Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. The self-described class clown always knew he wanted to be an entertainer. In a Complex feature, he said he watched Chris Farley, Will Ferrell, Cedric the Entertainer and Dave Chappelle videos growing up to hone his craft.
Now, with a legion of supporters who wait in anticipation for his next video, Druski is a certified star. Though he’s just getting started, here are five things to know about the budding legend.
1. Druski's parents disagreed with his decision to pursue comedy
Born to a pilot father and a mother who once worked at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the motivation to excel in life is already ingrained from birth. When Druski dropped out of Georgia Southern to follow comedy full time after two semesters, this angered both his mother and grandmother, with the latter even threatening to stop paying his bills.
“Upset’s not even the [right] word. My mom used to lose it — like literally cry,” he told GQ in November 2020 about his days slacking off in class.
2. A lot of his famous friendships began on social media
Because his videos are viewed by many, it’s no surprise Druski has also accumulated a few celeb fans. Now we know Drake is friends with everybody, but the “God’s Plan” rapper and the funnyman first crossed paths on the internet.
“I think he hit me up on Instagram. I noticed he had liked my s*** a long time ago. I had, like, no followers. Like, I probably had less than 100,000,” he said on No Jumper in July 2020. “He DM’d one day and was, like, ‘Yo, this is my favorite page. You’re literally one of the funniest dudes on the internet.’ I was just like, ‘What the f***?’… He’s a cool guy—down to earth—and now it’s just like on some friendship [level].”
Their friendship went one step further when Druski appeared in the video for Drake’s hit single “Laugh Now Cry Later” in 2020.
3. He's an owner in the Fan Controlled Football league
Taking after other well-known folks who have used sports as a vehicle for increasing their fortune, Druski announced in March he’d joined the ownership group for the Fan Controlled Football league.

“I’m pumped to be joining FCF not only as an owner, but of the reigning champion Wild Aces,” the Georgia-raised jokester said in a statement, per AfroTech. “I love everything about this league, and look forward to crushing this with ASM, Austin [Ekeler] and Rachel [Lindsa]. Hope our fans are ready to call all the shots and keep the FCF title where it belongs. This is going to be fun.”
4. Druski once lived with Odell Beckham Jr.
As previously mentioned, Druski has a rolodex of famous friends, including Super Bowl champion Odell Beckham Jr.
In a profile with GQ, the 27-year-old described the months he spent living in Los Angeles with the star wide receiver.
“We were working out everyday,” Druski told the outlet. “He just dropped so much knowledge about health.”
When GQ asked OBJ why he asked Druski to move in with him during the offseason, the former LSU Tiger said “Druski brings the best energy wherever he goes and always has everyone in the room laughing.”
5. He has a satirical record label
In 2021, as a way to host regular Instagram Lives, Druski created a fictional record label called Coulda Been Records. Since then, he’s interviewed fans and famous personalities. Last October, Druski jokingly invited Meek Mill to join Coulda Been Records after the rapper complained of a fishy deal between him and his current label that left the Philly-born artist wondering how much money his music generates.

Druski describes himself as the “best to ever do it” on his social media platforms. As his celebrity grows by the day, it sounds like he’s serious about being your favorite entertainer.
