Six members of the Haitian Special Olympics contingent, who were visiting the U.S. to participate in a soccer competition, are missing, CNN reports. Antione Mithon, Nicholson Fontilus, Peter Berlus, Anderson Petit-Frere, Steevenson Jacquet and Oriol Jean went missing in Kissimmee, Florida, just south of Orlando.

The six missing people, who are all men between the ages of 18 and 32, disappeared after turning in their room keys and leaving behind their personal bags and belongings, the Special Olympics said in a statement to CNN.

“The individuals are all adults, five of whom are not Special Olympics athletes and one who is an adult with intellectual disability,” the organization stated. “The well-being of these delegates is our foremost concern. Local authorities have indicated they have no reason to believe the health and safety of any of the individuals is at risk. To expand the reach and effectiveness of law enforcement’s efforts to locate these individuals, they have been reported as missing persons.”

The group was participating in a soccer competition as part of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, which are scheduled to take place from June 12 to June 19. The missing members were last seen on Monday around 2:30 p.m., the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Officers said foul play is not expected, but the reason they left the games is unknown.

“We are in communication with Walt Disney World, Special Olympics and our Law Enforcement and Federal partners,” the sheriff’s office said.
