Ten years ago today, Beyoncé and JAY-Z welcomed their first child: Blue Ivy Carter. While she may have just hit the double-digits, Carter is already a force to be reckoned with.

She was even referred to as "the most famous baby in the world" by TIME only two days after being born—and she has been steadily making money moves ever since.

As a way to celebrate Carter's 10th trip around the sun, we've compiled a list of some of the moments she stole the spotlight from her über-famous parents.

JAY-Z's "Glory"

When she was still a newborn, Carter's cries featured at the end of "Glory"—a song JAY-Z penned in her honor. However, rather than being known as a song JAY-Z wrote for Carter, it's often referred to as the song she made her musical debut at just two days old.

In later years, Blue Ivy Carter continued to be involved with some of her parents' work, and she won a Grammy last year for her role in Beyoncé's "Brown Skin Girl."

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards

Beyoncé memorably received the Video Vanguard Award back at the 2014 MTV VMAs, and she gave fans an awe-inspiring performance of her self-titled album before receiving the honor. After Beyoncé performed, hit songs like "Drunk in Love," "Partition," and "XO," JAY-Z and their daughter went onstage to present her with her coveted award.

Seeing a 2-year-old Carter clapping and celebrating her mother before sweetly saying "Yeah, mommy," captured many viewers' hearts. Various publications honed in on the fact that Carter presented Beyoncé with the Video Vanguard Award, showing the significance of this moment.

The 2017 Grammy Awards

Carter, who was five at the time, accompanied her parents to the 59th Grammy Awards. There, many were eagerly anticipating Beyoncé's performance of various hits from her Lemonade album, though Carter—unsurprisingly—stole the show from the audience section with her fashions.

While JAY-Z kept it timeless with a simple tuxedo, Carter captured people's attention with her bright, pink suit! The ensemble, which was a tribute to Prince, outshone her father's look, and—despite Beyoncé's performance—people couldn't stop talking about Carter's outfit at the event.

The 2018 Wearable Art Gala

The 2018 Wearable Art Gala provides another example of Carter stealing the show from her parents and grandparents. Carter rolled up to the event with JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and Richard Lawson. While everyone showed out and displayed fabulous fashions at the event, the young star was the center of attention with her gold outfit and headdress.

Carter also did some art bidding at the event, which placed even more spotlight on the then-6-year-old child.

Beyoncé's Ivy Park Ads

In February 2021, Beyoncé unveiled a new collection between Ivy Park—her athleisure brand with adidas. In the collection's promotional materials, fans were surprised to see Carter modeling some pieces.

Audiences loved that Carter was so involved in her mother's brand, and she went on to star in an Ivy Park Kids ad with her twin siblings, Rumi and Sir Carter, a few months afterward. Later, in December 2021, she and Rumi posed alongside their mother in yet another Ivy Park ad—and yes, they both stole the show.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z's Commercial for Tiffany & Co.

While Beyoncé and JAY-Z's "ABOUT LOVE" campaign with Tiffany's infamously led to some backlash, a subsequent "Date Night" commercial the pair did for the company ultimately fared much better—perhaps because it featured a cameo appearance by Carter!

While the young star was only in the 2-minute video for about 15 seconds, viewers couldn't stop buzzing about Carter's surprise appearance.

Carter is a young celebrity in her own right, and we're excited to see the fantastic things she does as she continues to grow—and upstage her parents!
