11 Times Black Twitter And SpongeBob Went Together Like Peanut Butter And Jelly
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Black Twitter Memepants!
Steven Hillenburg, the creator of SpongeBob Squarepants, has died of ALS, Variety reports. He was 57 years old.
A spokesperson for Nickelodeon said everyone at the network is "incredibly saddened" and called Hillenburg "a beloved friend and long-time creative partner to everyone at Nickelodeon."
Hillenburg's creation was a hit all over the world, and his character became go-to figures for memes. There was perhaps nowhere where this was truer than Black Twitter, and to honor his work, we'd like to share a few of our favorite SpongeBob Twitter memes.
