The 76ers and Sevyn Streeter have reached an agreement on her rescheduled performance of the national anthem. Last month the Philadelphia 76ers decided prevent the singer/songwriter from performing the national anthem after seeing her sporting a jersey that said “we matter.” Streeter took to social media to share the news, and the rest is history.

The feedback the team got from their decision led them to apologize and offer her the chance to reschedule her performance. Both Streeter and the 76ers have decided on the December 16th home game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. Streeter will be allowed to wear her “we matter” jersey, and the team has agreed to make a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.

Way to stay true to your cause, Sevyn!
