Filmmaker Ed DuRante, whom long time readers of this site would be familiar with (6 Things I Never Told You, Jake Gets Paid) has been furtively working on a musical adaptation of Anthony Burgess’ 1962 dystopian masterwork A Clockwork Orange, the basis of revered auteur Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 film of the same title, starring Malcolm McDowell.
The stage musical is scheduled to open this fall at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Off-Westend in London, which is essentially the equivalent of Off-Broadway here in the USA.
Ed notified me that he’s currently holding auditions for the show, and would like that particular piece of news to spread as widely as possible, hence this post.
So, if you’re an actor, preferably based in the UK, or you know an actor that fits the criteria as listed below, be sure to contact Ed via the email address given, with the requested materials.
