A Twitter user sparked a lively discussion on social media while testing Black people’s knowledge of Selena’s songs.
“Black people ONLY: Do you know any songs by Selena BESIDES “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom”…???” the person asked.

Some people apparently learned about Selena’s songs through unconventional methods.
My wife is Mexican and ironically Selena was the first Latina I fell for… I know almost all of her songs but if you ask a Hispanic person about black artists from back in the day they don't know nothing 😂😂😂

The movie Selena, which details the singer’s life, will be released in theaters nationwide on April 7, according to the singer’s Facebook page.
The film is making a return after it was first released in 1997, ABC 13 reports.
Jennifer Lopez, who starred in the movie, recently went to Twitter to pay tribute to Selena and express her love for the film.
What a very special day … we’re celebrating 25 years of SELENA! 🌹 Today we celebrate and honor Selena’s legacy and music. This movie means so much to me … Selena and her family mean so much to me, and I was so lucky to be chosen to play her. pic.twitter.com/9fjoW5RN3u

“There’s just such an outpouring of love coming in for Selena,” she said at the time. “It’s just such an incredible, incredible rush being out there.”
