A$AP Rocky was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles in connection with a shooting incident that happened in November, TMZ reports. Police waited for the rapper at the Los Angeles International Airport as he arrived from Barbados on a private jet and then took him away in handcuffs.
The alleged victim said A$AP shot at him three or four times and grazed his left hand after an argument broke out between the two on Nov. 6. The accuser, who is believed to be the artist’s acquaintance, sustained a minor injury and received treatment at the hospital.
Police, currently serving a search warrant at A$AP’s home, rammed through the artist’s front gate.
The 33-year-old, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was spending time in Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna, ABC 7 reports. Rihanna announced her pregnancy in late January.
