No surprise that since Whtney Houston's death, anything related to her has been ratings gold for TV networks. There was the Oprah Winfrey interview with Houston's brother, sister-in-law and her daughter, which was the highest rated show ever on OWN.
Then Good Morning Amercia had their heavily-watched interview with Houston's aunt Dionne Warwick.
So it's no surprise that someone would want to interview Bobby Brown to tell his side of the story, and it's being reported that ABC is actively pursuing Borwn for an exclusive interview with him, to be done with either Robin Roberts or Barbara Walters.
According to a network insider, Brown "would be paid something similar to network licensing fees or something like that," which could easily bring in low to mid-six figures for Brown.
However, an ABC rep said that if the interview were to happen, no money would be paid to Brown; although it's a fact that despite network denials, it has paid substantial six figure amounts of money for exclusive interviews in the past.
Network sources also confirm that several representatives for the network have been assigned to track down Brown and his associates to snag an interview with him.
