Snoop Dogg mispronounced some celebrities' names during the Golden Globe Awards back in December. Actor Ben Affleck, one of the people whose name Snoop said incorrectly, joked about the blunder earlier this week, the New York Post reports.

While announcing the nominees for Best Supporting Actor, the 50-year-old flubbed the actor's last name, saying “Afflay.” Affleck was nominated for his role in The Tender Bar.

Snoop quickly corrected himself after recognizing his mistake.

“Ben Affleck, my fault” the rapper said, chuckling. “Sorry bout that, Ben.”

The 49-year-old actor made a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show when he was asked about Snoop's blunder.

“[Snoop] did get the emphasis a little off, yes,” Affleck told host Kelly Clarkson.

“It’s funny because I always grew up and I thought, like, ‘Affleck? What an incredibly ugly name.’ Now it sounds like the duck commercial,” he joked in reference to Aflac, the insurance company.

The actor added that he grew up always wondering why his parents took their time spelling out their last name.

“I was always like, ‘Why did they always do that?’ And I realized as I started looking through the mail we would get and it would always be like, ‘Mr. and Mrs. A-S-S-L-I-C-K,'” Affleck said.

Affleck's name wasn't the only one that Snoop mispronounced during the show in December. The rapper also mispronounced actor Ciarán Hinds' name.

“Ca-ron, no sorry, Karen Hinds, work with me now,” the “Gin and Juice” rapper said.
