College Hill: Celebrity Edition is taking on Alabama State University (ASU) for its upcoming installment, and some very recognizable names will star in the hit series.

Information about the upcoming project came through an ASU press release, and it confirmed that Ray J — who starred in the first season at Texas Southern University alongside NeNe Leakes, Lamar Odom, Stacey Dash and Big Freedia — would return for the second season.

Other celebrities who will star on the show include game-changing women like Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Joseline Hernandez, Amber Rose and Parker McKenna Posey.

Additionally, the second season of College Hill: Celebrity Edition will feature Iman Shumpert, Kwaylon “BlameItOnKway” Rogers and O’Ryan Browner.

We should also note that, while College Hill: Celebrity Edition features big-name stars living together and attending a historically Black college or university (HBCU), the original College Hill series — which aired on BET from 2004 to 2009 — centered on everyday students.

“As the creator of the original franchise, I was so moved by the way both legacy fans and new fans embraced the first season of our College Hill: Celebrity Edition reboot,” Tracey Edmonds, CEO and President of Edmonds Entertainment, said in the press release.

“We are honored to be collaborating with ASU and are excited to share more entertaining stories about the richness of the HBCU culture and experience with audiences again this upcoming season,” Edmonds continued.

ASU President Dr. Quinton T. Ross Jr. spoke fondly of the series, and he’s excited that the Montgomery, Alabama, institution will get the chance to put its on-campus culture on full-display.

“We are extremely excited to welcome College Hill: Celebrity Edition to the campus of Alabama State University,” he said in the press release. “I want to thank Tracey Edmonds, Sean Rankine, Mark Seliga, and BET+ for selecting ASU as the location for the popular reality show that gives a global stage to the academic excellence, rich history and unique culture of the nation’s HBCUs.”

While the exact airdate is currently under wraps, the second season of College Hill: Celebrity Edition will premier sometime in 2023.
