Former Nickelodeon star Kianna Underwood has died at age 33. Multiple sources have confirmed that Underwood died in a hit-and-run accident on Friday in Brooklyn. Underwood was crossing the street around 7 a.m. when she was first struck by a black Ford Explorer SUV, Deadline reported. Police said the 33-year-old was then “subsequently struck by a black and gray sedan.”
Per Variety, police said the sedan dragged her for nearly two blocks, and she died at the scene. Both drivers fled the scene.
According to TMZ, police said Underwood sustained severe trauma to her head and torso after being hit by the cars. No arrests have been made at this time.
“There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad,” police said, per People.
