During Katy Perry's promotional live stream over the weekend for her album Witness, comedian and actress Amanda Seales passionately educates reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner on how America is not viewed the same by every person.

Jenner, who has not been shy about her support for President Donald Trump, seemed to not understand the harsh realities of racism black people faced throughout America's history.

"It's an insult to me that you are not listening to what I'm saying," Seales says. "The reason I am so passionate is that I have had a different experience in this country than you. Because as a black woman the government is so much in my life."

The comedian and actress eloquently broke down how racist housing policies such as Section 8 that were first introduced in the 1960s and '70s  led to the breakup of the black family. "The government literally said that black men could not be in the house or else black women could not get welfare." She even attributed the unfair policy that prevented black men from being in the home for the current rift between black men and black women.

In a matter of a minute, Seales schooled her about racism and how America isn't the shiny city on the hill Jenner believed it to be but Jenner still didn't change her mind. "I believe in this country," Jenner replies.

Seales pointed out that this country has not been there for trans people and that Jenner should acknowledge that fact. Earlier this year, Jenner became an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump after his administration began rolling back former President Barack Obama's policies protecting trans students
