According to High Snobriety, 20,000 people attended Amber Rose's third annual SlutWalk this weekend in Los Angeles.

Dressed in a white, pink and blue leotard and cape along with a long blonde wig, Amber Rose transformed into her superhero alter ego "Captain Save A Hoe" to lead the march.

She was joined by a variety of celebrities, including many who have faced slut-shaming, such as Blac Chyna, Kehlani and Just Brittany.

After the demise of her relationship with Rob Kardashian, Chyna found herself under attack. She is currently pursuing legal action against Kardashian under California's revenge porn laws after he allegedly leaked nude photographs of her on social media.

Kehlani almost lost her life as a result of online bullying and slut shaming. After breaking up with NBA player Kyrie Irving and rekindling things with her ex PARTYNEXTDOOR, Kehlani attempted suicide after the musician posted a photo of the two of them in bed together, leading to strangers ridiculing her online. She's bounced back better than ever and has since taken a stance on mental health and slut shaming.

aye girl I love watching you do what you love to do ✨✨✨✨ #SlutWalk

The annual march and fundraiser originally started in Toronto. It aims to end the stigma around rape and to end victim blaming and slut shaming.

In January 2011, Toronto police spoke to University of York students about crime prevention – speaking specifically on how to "prevent" campus rape. During the event, Toronto Police Constable Michael Sanguinetti is said to have said to students: "I've been told I'm not supposed to say this – however, women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized."

Although he later apologized, SlutWalk co-founders Sonya Barnett and Heather Jarvis decided that as women they wanted to take control of their sexuality and redefine the meaning of the word "slut." The first SlutWalk was then thrown in April 2011.

Since the 2011, the march has taken place worldwide in New York, Australia, Switzerland and Brazil.

The event has seen some measure of controversy. Event throwers have found themselves defending the name of the walk and feminism itself. Even Amber Rose found herself in a Twitter battle with talking head Piers Morgan after she published a full frontal bottom-nude photo in promotion of her 2017 SlutWalk.

In addition to Rose, this year's event was hosted by social media stars Lala and BlameitonKway, and featured performances by O.T. Genasis, CupcakKe, Margie Plus and Just Brittany.

Also making a special appearance were Amber Rose's mom, who marched holding a "Black Lives Matter" sign, and Rose's beau, rapper 21 Savage.

And the feminist vibes weren't limited to the march itself!

The night before the SlutWalk, Rose spoke on a panel at USC alongside Debbie Allen.

The conference featured several guest speakers who discussed five pillars of personal education: “Know Your Rights,” “Sex Talk and Relationships,” “Activism,” “Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy” and “Policy.”

At the event, Rose's talk on sex dived into feminism; she said she hoped feminists could come together as one to make a big difference is the world, and in the way women are viewed in society.
