Beauty company Mielle Organics has tapped Angel Reese to be its newest ambassador. The NCAA athlete will be the face of the hair care brand and will curate a limited-edition bundle of her favorite products, which will be available for purchase this summer.
“I have been using [Mielle’s] products on and off the court for a few years now,” Reese told WWD. “I am proud to represent a brand that is committed to uplifting women, giving back and changing norms. I respect the drive and dedication of Mielle’s Founder and CEO Monique Rodriguez; I have that same passion, and it is a dream to be connected to a company like this.”
Mielle Organics has previously tapped celebrities such as Megan Thee Stallion and Saweetie as ambassadors.
“We selected Angel as a brand ambassador because our goal is to bridge the gap between sports and the beauty space,” Monique Rodriguez, founder and chief executive officer of Mielle, said according to the news outlet. “The confidence, boldness and resilience she embodies on and off the court are some of the qualities we look for when we choose brand ambassadors — she’s inspirational.”

Reese recently led LSU to win its first national championship game during the National Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Tournament. She has since signed NIL deals with several companies, including Bose, McDonald’s and JanSport.

The news comes as Mielle’s Rosemary Mint Hair Oil went viral on TikTok in December 2022 after influencer Alix Earle mentioned it in a video. P&G Beauty then acquired the company in January.
“It has been a great partnership with P&G; for the most part, things are still the same for us, but we have that added layer of distribution of resources so our Mielle customers don’t have issues finding the products they love,” Rodriguez said.
