Angel Reese is celebrating her birthday early with a brand new NIL deal. She signed with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge and got a brand-new car ahead of her 21st birthday this weekend.
“BIG BODY BENZ BARBIE! Why not get a new car when it’s your 21st birthday week???” Reese captioned an Instagram post.
The basketball star posed next to a shiny black EQS580 with a red bow on the car’s hood. Reese was photographed raising her new car keys and smiling behind the wheel.
“Thank you, Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge, for helping me purchase my NEW CAR!! This is a gift to myself for everything that I’ve accomplished in 1 YEAR,” Reese said.

Part of the car was paid off in a NIL deal, and Reese paid the rest, On3 reported. She secured the endorsement with the help of Bayou Traditions, the official collective for LSU athletics and Matchpoint Connection, a company that helps athletes connect NIL deals.
Reese is one of 22 student-athletes to have a NIL valuation in the seven figures, according to the news outlet. At the start of March Madness, she had a $371,000 On3 NIL Valuation. Today, she is one of the top women’s basketball stars, with a valuation of $1.4 million.
Her star power is evident on social media, where she’s been racking millions of followers in just a few weeks.
“She’s not just a student-athlete anymore or a marketable women’s basketball player where we’re doing these one-off deals,” Jeanine Ogbonnaya, her agent, told On3. “I think at this point, she’s got the following to back it up where she can be doing long-term partnerships that truly align with her brand and her messaging, and finding those brands that align with that as well.”
