On Friday, the Oprah Winfrey Network announced the premiere date(s) of it’s new original series “Greenleaf,” the megachurch drama from Emmy nominated writer and producer Craig Wright.

The series is scheduled to have a two-night premiere beginning on Tuesday, May 24th and continuing on Wednesday, May 25th at 10PM ET/PT, and will feature Oprah Winfrey’s return to her first recurring scripted role in over 20 years.

“Greenleaf” will follow the journey of Grace Greenleaf, an estranged and disillusioned preacher whose sister’s mysterious death forces her to return home after 20 years. Soon after Grace reenters her parents’ church, Calvary Fellowship World Ministries, the misdeeds the Greenleafs once masked begin to resurface.

Some familiar faces you can expect to see on screen include Merle Dandridge, Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Desiree Ross, Kim Hawthorne, Deborah Joy Winans, and Gregory Alan Williams.
