Apple Music has launched Replay, which gives users a recap of their most listened-to music and offers global data from the past year, ahead of the highly anticipated Spotify Wrapped.

New Features
This year, Apple Music included seven charts as part of its 2024 Replay. As BGR reports, they include, “the number of minutes you listened to songs, the number of artists you listened to and which one is your favorite of the year, if you made it into an artist’s top 100/500/1,000 listeners, the amount of songs you listened to and your top song, the number of albums you listened to and your top album, the genre you listened to the most,” as well as “as a wrap-up with total minutes, top artist, top album and top song.”
Some brand new features were also added to the 2024 Replay, including listening streaks, a replay by month and the date users listened to their top song, artist and album of the year.
“Now users can learn the longest consecutive number of days they’ve played from Apple Music,” the company said in a press release, according to Today.
Top Songs and Artists of the Year
Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” was 2024’s most streamed song, according to Apple Music. It spent over six weeks in the Global Daily Hot 100 chart following the track’s May 2024 release. The top 5 included Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer.”
“2024 was a historic year across the board, as more women reached the year-end global songs chart than ever, global genres soared to new heights, and many of the top ranks went to artists who had never made the year-end charts before,” Apple Music said.
