Ari Lennox has her eyes set on a role that many fans would agree she would be perfect for.

In a new video shared to her social media accounts, the “Shea Butter Baby” songstress delivered a breathtaking rendition of “Almost There” from the 2009 animated Disney movie The Princess and The Frog.

“Hi I’m Ari Lennox and I would love an opportunity to audition for Princess and The Frog in person,” she captioned the video. “Here’s #AlmostThere by Anika Noni Rose.” 

Though a live-action remake of The Princess and The Frog has not been confirmed, rumors that Disney is considering bringing the fan-favorite film to life have been swirling — especially in light of the upcoming The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan & Wendy releases.

With her Age Sex Location Tour being her last, it appears that Lennox is looking to try her hand at acting.

The singer announced back in December that will no longer be touring after Age Sex Location wraps.

“Age Sex Location will be my last tour.  I love my genuine fans so much and can’t wait to give you my all every night!! ,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet, per All Hip-Hop. “Europe, I love you but unfortunately there will not be a tour due to reasons out of my control. Happy holidays. See you soon Vegas!”

Though fans won’t get to see her perform her hits on another tour, there’s a possibility we might see Lennox showcasing her amazing vocals on the big screen! We’ll just have to wait and see.
