Amen Oyiboke is all things self-discovery and purpose — from being a journalist, to hosting, to music and mentoring—Amen is constantly exploring ways to create legacy for the next generation. Coming from Houston, Texas, and a proud product of both Prairie View A&M University and University of Southern California (USC), Amen started her journalism journey right after moving to Los Angeles. Amen has interviewed Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, Ludacris, and David Oyelowo just to name a few. She continues to change the perception of what stories an entertainment reporter can do. In 2014, Amen’s radio documentary about minimum wage in exotic dancing was featured on LA's NPR-West and their LA affiliate station KCRW. She has also worked with H Texas Magazine, Annenberg Radio News, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Pilates Style Magazine, and the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper as a writer and on-camera talent. She is the founder of Amen2dat.com & TheRefreshMovement.com.
