Tried and true, drink some water after every alcoholic beverage and it’ll lessen the blow. But don’t overdo it, you’ll stress your body out with all the bathroom breaks.

2. HEARTY > HEALTHY

Splurge on the carbs, protein, fiber nutrients. A burger, for instance, will absorb much of the alcohol’s shock so your body won’t have to.

3. AVOID SUGARY DRINKS

Do you think Sugar Ray Robinson would have stepped in the ring with Joe Louis if he could have? Let’s hope not. If you’re a lightweight, be a lightweight.

5. SLEEP

Go to bed, and stay there for at least 8hrs. Let your body purge the alcohol while your consciousness dreams of sobriety. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to throw on one of those eye covers.

6. TAKE A HOT SHOWER

Before or after bed jump in the shower. The steam will relax your body…and take the stench of liquor off your skin.

The morning after headache and stomachache are brutal, so skip the greasy foods and go for an omelet or poached egg. Bacon sounds good, but not to your stomach.

9. DRINK SELTZER

Carbonated water will actually increase your body’s alcohol metabolism, which means it’ll break down the toxins that make you sick faster. Think of how much champagne gets you drunk, now remove the alcohol. Science.

10. GO FOR A RUN, OR WORKOUT

Fitness is already one of your resolutions, plus you’ll sweat off that last glass of champagne you’re starting to regret.

If all else fails, suck it up, go to brunch, and have a Bloody Mary while watching the morning walks of shame. You’ll feel better by Monday.
