Multi-faceted entertainer Azealia Banks says she wishes the public would forgive as they forgive Joe Rogan.

On Monday, Banks posted to her Instagram story a lengthy statement about the latest controversy concerning Rogan and his usage of the N-Word during his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. She believes that Rogan is getting a slap on the wrist for using the racial slur multiple times while she's punished for past indiscretions.

"Damn, Joe Rogan is about to get a slap on the hand for being grown and knowing not to say the n-word and continue to prosper. I'm still being punished in adulthood for things I said as a kid and have repeatedly apologized for," Banks said. "This is not any attempt to garner sympathy but if he gets the room to learn from 'mistakes'"

Banks acknowledges that learning from bad choices is a good thing, and she too would have benefited from getting the same forgiveness extended to her.

"And we are acknowledging that people deserve second chances and room to grow," Banks said. "I would've really benefited from having those same opportunities extended to me when I needed them most. I definitely needed that compassion, goodwill, and support on multiple occasions."

Banks concludes the post by reassuring her followers that she isn't looking for pity, but it would have changed her life for the better.

"Not a pity party but just even the tiniest bit of support," Banks said. "Could have changed my life on levels deeper than music."

Banks' criticism of Rogan's past stems from Spotify's continued support of Joe Rogan. Rogan has been implicated in numerous controversies over the past year, resulting in several prominent musicians pulling their music from the streaming service.

On Sunday, Banks took to her Instagram story to give her opinion on the TikTok between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. The "212" rapper accused the public of making excuses for West, known as Ye, and accused him of embarrassing and abusing his daughter, North West.

"Y'all are making way too many excuses for Kanye. This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West," Banks said. "First with the abortion s**t, and now putting her on blast on his Instagram page as if she is some sort of criminal."

Banks then accuse Ye of allegedly attacking Kardashian's mental health while on drugs.

"Aside from the fact that he's making it his business to try and wreck the mental health of the only person around to care for his children (their mother) while he galavants the streets with dirty industry interns," Banks said. "Druggy S**ts bags, eating dirty steaks at LES dive bars and is clearly having a rapid opioid/heroin comedown/withdrawal-type outburst, y'all wanna call it a mental health issue."

Banks concludes her lengthy post by asking the public to stop making excuses for Ye and instead help North.

"Y'all are making way too many excuses for Kanye," Bank said. "Stop trying to help him and start trying to help the poor child that he keeps on trying to embarrass and abuse publicly to garner sympathy for his ashy ass."
