The NFL has named its Super Bowl LX halftime performer.

According to CNN, the league announced on Sunday that Bad Bunny will take center field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8 for football’s big game.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history,” Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said in an NFL statement announcing the show.

The NFL, Roc Nation and Apple Music, which produce the halftime show, shared a video teasing the rapper’s headlining performance. In it, Bad Bunny, in a brown suit and Puerto Rican pava hat, sits on a goal post as his song “Callaita” plays.

Bad Bunny also took to social media to share the news.

“I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States,” he wrote in a tweet referencing his vocal refusal to perform in the U.S. amid ongoing ICE raids.

JAY-Z says he’s ‘honored’ to have Bad Bunny headline the performance

It’s been a monumental year for Bad Bunny, who recently wrapped up a two-month residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, which culminated in a concert streamed on Amazon. Since kicking off his residency in July, the rapper has garnered hundreds of millions of dollars in tourist revenue for Puerto Rico.

“What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” JAY-Z said in a statement.

Vice President of Apple Music, Sports and Beats Oliver Schusser called Bad Bunny’s career “meteoric” and influential on music across genres.

“His music has not only broken records but has elevated Latin music to the center of pop-culture,” he said in the NFL statement.

According to The Associated Press, Emmy winner Jesse Collins will co-executive produce the show, and British director Hamish Hamilton will serve as its director.
