The Barbz cannot contain their excitement after Nicki Minaj made her classic mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, available on streaming services for the first time. Providing even more exciting news for her fans, Minaj included new tracks on the mixtape, which was originally released in 2009, according to Pitchfork. One of the new tracks, titled "Seeing Green," features Drake and Lil Wayne.
There's also a new song titled “Fractions,” which happens to be Minaj's first new solo since she released “Yikes” in February 2020, according to Rolling Stone.
“B***hes act like they want action/heard they want action/b***h we ain’t duckin’ no action,” she raps in the song. “I’m bout to give dem dat traction, send a distraction— then I’ma line ’em like fractions.”
Beam Me Up Scotty, which includes 23 songs, also features “Crocodile Tears (Remix)” with Skillibeng, Billboard reported. Minaj announced the release of her new mixtape on Thursday on Instagram Live, where she also praised Drake for rekindling her passion for writing.
"I love you so much, Drake," she said. "He single-handedly got me out of my writer's block. He sent me something and I felt competitive again. I was like 'what the f**k am I doing? You need to start writing."

The collaboration with Drake and Wayne has especially brought a rush of nostalgia to music lovers around the world.
The Nicki Minaj, Drake, Wayne record is amazing. What a feel-good nostalgic feeling, needed this!

Minaj's latest production seems to have affirmed her title as the queen of rap.
Nah Nicki Minaj slanders bothers me bro. Do you know what she’s done for female rap and RAP in general? There’s only one queen and it’s her. Stop saying Cardi B and Young MA/Doja Cat is better just because you have an agenda against her. Give credit where credit is due.

The queen also received praise for being able to smoothly transition into the era of music streaming.
How many rappers had careers that were on???? before streaming & carried it over into the world of singles, streaming & downloads? Very few. @NickiMinaj is 1 of them. Ppl forget what an amazing transition that is. Most acts in general only survived during one specific era in music.

It was a wonderful dilemma for some as they tried to choose between listening to the new mixtape or J Cole's new album, The Off-Season.
