Basketball Wives star Brandi Maxiell says her husband wanted to slap Iyanla Vanzant after their controversial Iyanla: Fix My Life episode.
Brandi has had her personal struggles play out on television for the world to see, mainly her marriage problems. She’s been open about experiencing infidelity in her marriage to former NBA player, Jason Maxiell. The couple exposed such even further on Iyanla: Fix My Life, where Jason detailed the number of women he says he slept with in their marriage, and Brandi wasn’t happy.

2. Jason Maxiell cheated dozens of times
Jason told Vanzant that he cheated 50 times during their marriage. Brandi was humiliated. Through marriage, counseling, and appearing on the show, the couple decided to work it out. But the experience left Jason upset.
As reported by Urban Belle Mag, During a recent interview with DeDe’s Dope Podcast, the reality star discussed their experience on Iyanla: Fix my Life.

The reality star still feels Jason is a good man and was worth fighting for.
“It was just the perception, the edit of how it was and everything. I mean to know my husband, he’s a good guy. Yeah, he ****** up, and yeah, I made him pay for it. But at the same time, we worked so hard at that. I was humiliated, I’m not gonna lie. And one thing that I did learn from her is that she was like, ‘It’s something deeper. He needs to know his father, he needs counseling.’ It was drinking…and number two, it was retired. He didn’t know how to handle that,” she added.
