Beanie Sigel has a new side hustle: bagels.
The Philly native has teamed up with restauranteur Danny DiGiampietro to launch Beanie’s Bagels, according to the rapper’s Instagram account.
DiGiampietro confirmed the venture to the Philly Voice.
According to NBC 10, Beanie and DiGiampietro have been searching for locations across their beloved city, and hope to be open by the end of the year. If successful, they'll turn the shop into a chain. In addition to bagels, the shop will sell Philly staples such as roast beef and pulled chicken sandwiches.
“We’ve been going back and forth talking about recipes,” Sigel said.
