Two Canadian police officers are facing disciplinary action after they got high off someone else's supply, reports VICE.
At 5 p.m. on January 27, Constables Jamie Young and Vittorio Dominelli were involved in the search and seizure of a Toronto marijuana dispensary and got their hands on some cannabis-infused chocolate. They "failed to account for" all of the chocolate during the search, according to police records.
After the seizure was over, the pair were sent to work another case at 11 p.m. and got hungry.
The officers still had some of the chocolate in their possession and decided to eat it.
By 1 a.m., they were trippin.'
Dominelli called for backup, claiming he felt like he was going to pass out while Young pulled out her phone and called 911. When backup arrived, the partners were separated. Dominelli was found "in distress" and taken to a local hospital. Young was found later, and "it soon became apparent that [she was] also in distress and in need of medical attention." Both admitted to ingesting the edibles at the hospital.
Responding officers found two full packages of chocolate and one empty.
On top of all of these shenanigans, another officer slipped on some ice and had to be taken to the hospital, too.
The media later found a video of Dominelli lip-syncing to Afroman's "Because I Got High."

Young is facing four misconduct charges, and Dominelli is facing six. Both have been suspended from the force with pay.
Charges against the people who worked at the dispensary were dropped due to Young and Dominelli's behavior.
