The films that will screen in the Panorama section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival have been announced, and, making the cut of 11 fictional and 8 documentary films are Raoul Peck’s latest effort, "Murder in Pacot" – which is inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini’s "Teorema" – as well as the Kenya/South Africa produced documentary, "Stories of Our Lives," directed by Jim Chuchu, which speaks on the influence of evangelical organisations from the United States in Kenya, where hatred against homosexuals has been ignited.
Raoul Peck will present his Haitian-French-Norwegian co-production, "Murder in Pacot," which is a character piece set outdoors against the catastrophe of the earthquake in Port-au-Prince, that looks with rage at class distinctions in Haitian society.
In Stories of Our Lives, Jim Chuchu lets a whole range of brave people speak on what it means to live in a country where homosexuality is banned.
