BET Networks has announced a premiere date for the original movie, “Gun Hill,” which stars Larenz Tate – a project we’ve been following since its initial unveiling 2 years ago, and which I’ve received numerous emails about from readers asking when it will eventually debut on the network.

Well folks, wait no longer, as BET has announced that ‘Gun Hill’ will premiere on Wednesday, July 2, at 9pm ET/PT. 

Directed by Reggie “Rock” Bythewood (“Biker Boyz”), Gun Hill stars Larenz Tate portraying twin brothers, Trane and Bird, on opposite sides of the law: Trane, a cop, and Bird, a con. On one fateful night in New York City, Trane is killed. Bird assumes his identity and begins his own search for redemption. 

The film also stars Emayatzy Corinealdi, Michael Aronov, Phyllis Yvonne Stickney, Tawny Cypress and Aisha Hinds.
