Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are two of the biggest pop artists in the world, and because of their stardom and position in the music industry, fans often pit them against each other. But, as Queen Bey recently proved, there is nothing but love and adoration between the two.
According to Complex, the “Break My Soul” singer attended Swift’s premiere of her Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The film, directed by Sam Wrench, provides an epic, three-hour take on the singer’s record-breaking tour. AMC Theatres reported the movie has already garnered over $100 million in pre-sale tickets worldwide.
Beyoncé posed with Swift on the red carpet and joined the singer in the theater for a popcorn photo op. Swift gushed about her attendance on Instagram and thanked the singer for showing up and her influence on music.
“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without [Beyoncé’s] influence,” Swift wrote. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”

The Eras Tour film will play at select arthouse theaters and independent venues nationwide, including the Belcourt Theatre, a historic nonprofit film center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Beyoncé announced her concert film, chronicling her Renaissance World Tour, in an Instagram post after concluding the tour on Oct. 1.
“The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged,” Beyoncé said in the film’s trailer. “Start over, start fresh, create the new. That’s what the Renaissance is about.”
Beyoncé’s concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, opens on Dec. 1.
