Still Standing, the latest relationship-themed documentary by BlackandMarriedWithKids.com authors Lamar and Ronnie Tyler, is headed for a five-city tour.
Following the announcement of their one-night-only screening date in Chicago, the duo has announced four additional screening dates in Washington DC, Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta throughout the spring. The events are billed as advanced screenings ahead of a May 1st DVD release.
The couple's third documentary, Still Standing features interviews with black couples sharing personal stories of how they’ve overcome a series of obstacles in their marriages – including chronic illness, infidelity, finances, and blended families – and how they've been able to maintain their relationships through it all. The project includes conversations with husband-and-wife neo soul duo Kindred the Family Soul, “Speech” Thomas from the Grammy Award-winning group Arrested Development and his wife, as well as psychologist Dr. Sherry L. Blake.
