Introducing Babette Davis, the owner and chef of soul food vegan restaurant, Stuff I Eat. The 65-year old entrepreneur opened her business in 2008 after revitalizing her lifestyle and finding that the vegan dishes she made were encouraging people around her to seek healthier lifestyle choices for themselves. She believes in the motto “to live and let live” and cultivates that idea not only in her lifestyle choices but, in her commitment to continue seeking the best practices that allow her to live her best life.
By taking a look at her, you can see that her dedication to health and fitness is second to none. She began her journey to wellness in 1990 after meeting her now husband. After facing the fact that many of her bodily ailments were food induced, and reading books about adopting a better food and lifestyle practice, Davis adopted the philosophy “that we as humans have a connection with the food we eat” and she sought out to only have a relationship with food that is mutually beneficial. That philosophy spilled over from food and fitness, and she’s now informing and feeding others about cuisine that is healthier for animals, the planet, and themselves.
Stuff I Eat specializes in creating food directed to sustain well-being. By taking a look at her Instagram, her dishes like Enchilada Pie, Kilimanjaro Quesadillas, and Chocolate Raspberry Cake, it may entice you to give the vegan lifestyle a try. If you’re ever in the Inglewood, Callifornia area and you’re curious about vegan cuisine, Stuff I Eat may be the place to set your taste buds on a new adventure.
