Blueface and Chrisean Rock were recently involved in a physical altercation in Los Angeles, and the rapper is beginning to face the consequences of his actions.

The controversial couple was caught tussling on camera earlier this week, as Blavity previously reported.

In the video, which a bystander recorded, Rock and Blueface can be seen getting into a physical altercation in the streets of Hollywood — with both parties throwing jabs at each other.

The couple ultimately winds up on the ground, and Blueface then proceeds to kneel over Rock and seemingly struggle to get a hold of an iced-out chain before they both get up to head home.

Now, while Rock was unbothered enough to stay by the rapper’s side, Blueface is facing ramifications over how he conducted himself in the now-viral clip.

Ahead of the incident in question, Blueface was announced as a participant in the MF & DAZN: X Series 001 boxing event, a brand-new crossover series being put on by the DAZN sports platform and Misfits Boxing, aka MF Boxing.

He was specifically set to go up against FaZe Temperrr on Aug. 27 at The O2 in London, England.

It’s also worth adding that, just a few days ahead of Blueface and Rock going at it, the “Thotiana” rapper and FaZe Temperrr had a virtual press conference.

However, according to Hollywood Unlocked, promoters are now attempting to distance themselves from Blueface and have even removed him from the event.

“In light of the videos that have come to light today of Blueface assaulting his partner, we cannot allow him to participate in a DAZN broadcast fight sports event. I appreciate this will complicate event prep, but it is the right decision for everyone involved,” one of the promoters wrote, according to the outlet.

“We will now of course need to consider an
alternative fight for the card,” the promoter continued.

Promoters further spoke on the situation in another statement.

“In light of the videos that have come to light today of Blueface assaulting his partner, we cannot allow him to participate in a DAZN broadcast fight sports event,” Radar Online reports.

On top of the boxing situation, TMZ also reports that the Los Angeles Police Department has gotten involved and is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Blueface hasn’t publicly commented on being dropped from the event, and it’s unclear if authorities have made contact with him or Rock.
