The 'Bodega Boys' Desus & Mero are coming to late night television in October

Your favorite podcast hosts, Desus Nice & The Kid Mero, will soon be taking over television screens thanks to the folks over at Viceland. The comedic duo hailing from the Bronx and well known for their extremely popular podcast, Bodega Boys will be sharing their quips and commentary four nights a week, beginning on October 17th. According to Nick Weidenfeld, President of Programming of Viceland, adding the pair to the Viceland family was an obvious decision to make. He stated, “Desus and Mero are two of the funniest, most insightful people on the planet. The fact they don’t already have their own show is criminal. Bringing them to Viceland is the easiest decision I’ve ever made.”

Recently, Desus Nice reflected upon how the new venture feels like coming full circle.

The transition to late night television won’t be a huge move for these dudes because along with their online show at Complex, they’ve also been featured consistently on shows like MTV’s Guy Gode, Uncommon Sense and Wild N’Out. Needless to say, the brand is strong. Fans can look forward to hearing the pair discuss news and topics of the day in their synonymous New York twang, headed up by Emmy-award winning executive producer, Erik Rydholm.

Set your DVR’s now and don’t miss the premiere of “Desus & Mero” on Monday, October 17th at 11 p.m. EST.
