The first teaser trailer for the cannibal love story Bones and All, starring Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell has been released.
Chalamet debuted the teaser on Twitter. The actor and director Luca Guadagnino previously worked together on 2017’s film Call Me by Your Name, which landed Chalamet his first Oscar nomination.
The coming-of-age tale follows cannibal lovers as they travel cross-country by car
The film is based on Camille DeAngelis’ book of the same name.
André Holland, Chloe Sevigny, David Gordon-Green, Jessica Harper, Jake Horowitz, and Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg also star.
David Kajganich, who worked with Guadagnino on Suspiria and A Bigger Splash, wrote the script.
Bones and All will premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival very soon. Guadagnino’s Suspiria bowed at the festival in 2018.
Guadagnino, Theresa Park, Marco Morabito, Dave Kajganich, Francesco Melzi d’Eril, Lorenzo Mieli, Gabriele Moratti, Peter Spears and Chalamet produce the film. Executive producers include Giovanni Corrado, Raffaella Viscardi, Marco Colombo and Moreno Zani.
