It’s been almost four years, but your patience has been rewarded, and the wait will soon be over.
Cartoon Network’s late night Adult Swim programming block, announced in January that the fourth season of Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks will return to the network on April 21st.
There had been rumblings that a new season was scheduled to begin soon, but, until that January announcement, there had been no confirmation. The network soon started broadcasting brief commercials announcing the air date for the start of the new season.
Of course no other information on what to expect has been given yet, but considering what has transpired in the world over the past four years during the show’s hiatus, it’s safe to say that the writers have a ton of material to work with.
