In another development within the Jack Harlow and Brandy saga, the R&B icon shows off her rap skills over Harlow’s “First Class” beat.

The pair’s light friction emerged earlier this month when Jack Harlow expressed that he had no idea Brandy and Ray J were siblings, as Blavity previously reported. If fact, he even went as far as to blatantly ask, “Who’s Ray J’s sister?” which many interpreted as an inadvertent slight at the well-known R&B singer.

In turn, fellow artist India.Arie called the 24-year-old rapper out for reducing Brandy, “one of the industry’s MOST IMPORTANT VOICES,” to “Ray J’s sister.”

Brandy also eventually chimed in, tweeting that she’ll easily “sing his ass to sleep.”

Now, it looks like Brandy’s walking the walk when it comes to her comment, as she hopped on the beat to “First Class” by Jack Harlow.

The freestyle debuted on Wednesday via Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, the same radio show that recently interviewed Jack Harlow.

Once it was unveiled, it swiftly began making rounds on Twitter. People were also quick to analyze some of her lyrics, suggesting that Brandy threw shade at Jack Harlow during her freestyle.

“That don’t mean jack in the streets/ Jack of all trades, now I’m here jacking for beats/ Queen’s canceled, but you can never cancel a queen,” she raps.

Once the audio began making rounds on social media, Twitter understandably began cutting up immediately.

The overwhelmingly vast majority of users speaking on the subject were fawning over Brandy’s performance.

People also expressed genuine surprise over the freestyle, though others mainly found the song to be funny.

People also shared their differing opinions on whether the matter was a rap diss.

Whether or not people chose to interpret the matter as beef, most users’ stance on the subject was clear: Brandy killed the freestyle.

Jack Harlow hasn’t publicly acknowledged the viral freestyle on social media.
