Bronny James is bonding with his college teammates ahead of his freshman year starting next fall. The 18-year-old went viral for a karaoke session during a dinner with his fellow USC men’s basketball teammates.

He took the mic, and fans quickly reacted to the team bonding moment on social media. His father, NBA star LeBron James, shared his reaction on Twitter.

“AYYYYEEEEEEEE!!! #FightOn,” he wrote.

“Them boys having a ball! This is peak team building,” a fan tweeted.

“Okay, this team is gonna be special to see! I love the bonding. The old-school music is amazing,” another commented.

“When I heard them sing “When I See you” by Fantasia, couldn’t help but smile even more,” another wrote on Twitter.

Earlier this year, Bronny James announced he was committing to the University of California and signed his letter of intent. Although the institution is known to educate children of celebrities, James’ attendance is expected to generate buzz surrounding his basketball performance. USC is reportedly taking additional security measures for celebrities who may want to watch him play.

“This year, to contend with the star power, the school could create a separate entrance for celebrities and other VIPs who want to watch Bronny and USC men’s basketball,” ESPN’s Myron Medcalf said. “It also plans to adjust security measures for players as general attendance increases.”

The 18-year-old is considered a five-star recruit and was ranked No. 4 in 247Sports’ 2023 ranking of the top basketball recruits from California.
