Bronny James and his teammates were rushed off the court during an altercation that had everyone in total panic. During their game at Wise High School, a fight broke out between fans, and a gun was allegedly pulled out.

Bronny’s team, Sierra Canyon, played against another powerful team, DeMatha Catholic, in the “DMV Showcase” in Maryland.

It was a close game, as DeMatha was in the lead 52-51, suddenly, a crazy fight started in the stands and it was pandemonium the second someone yelled “GUN!.” The panic-stricken crowd, players, and everyone jetted out of the gymnasium and the game had to be canceled immediately.

In a video, that has now gone viral, you can see the audience and players hectically rush toward the exit doors. As reported by ClutchPoints, someone yelled “gun” and shook the whole place up.

Since the incident, Bronny James has shared his disappointment and thoughts on the matter on his social media.

“high schoolers can’t even hoop in peace now a days,” he shared.

The organizers of the event made the decision to cancel the game. In a statement reported to Basketball News, the president of Paragon Marketing Group, Rashid Ghazi announced that Sunday’s game would not take place due to safety reasons.

 “Given the incident in the stands tonight during the CBC vs. Stags game at Wise High School, we have canceled Sunday’s event. We are making the decision out of the utmost of caution to ensure player and fan safety. Refunds will be available via Go Fan,” Ghazi proclaimed.

Bronny’s father, L.A. Lakers star, LeBron James has not commented on the incident.
