Busta Rhymes is going viral after a resurfaced clip showed him blasting mask mandates and shutdowns, referring to them as “little weird ass government policies.”

“In the last sixteen f**king months, COVID could suck a d**k,” the 49-year-old said to a crowd at the Seoul Tacos 10th Anniversary Block Party in St. Louis in June. “All these little weird ass government policies and mandates, suck a d**k. They’re trying to take our civil liberties away. It feels good to be back outside, we outside for real!”

Busta, who was born Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., apologized to the audience for getting “political” after he mentioned that breathing freely is inherent freedom.

“It’s called the God-given right of freedom, right?” he continued onstage. “No human being is supposed to tell you that you can’t even breathe freely. F**k your mask. … Some of y’all might feel differently, but f**k your mask.”

“I can’t rhyme with you with a mask on. We can’t eat food with a f**king mask on,” he added. “We can’t even see each other’s smiles with a mask on. All of that energy gets blocked when our mask is on. Energy is important and we are all conductors of f**king good energy.”

Some audience members cheered on the “Touch It” rapper, but others quickly called him out for spewing irresponsible rhetoric amid a surging pandemic.

Some Twitter users also expressed their disappointment as fans for what he had to say, noting that he could have done less damage if he had remained neutral in his remarks.

"I ain't going through that s**t again," the rapper continued in the video. "And make sure y'all prepare, too. If anything came out of this mother**ker, it was a lot of learning," adding that the shutdown has helped him feel more "empowered."

"And this energy right here is unf**k-wit-able," he concluded. "They can't f**k with us when we're together like this."
