Dior Beauty tapped Caleb McLaughlin to become its U.S. ambassador in the fragrance department. The 21-year-old actor will help promote the La Collection Privée fragrance collection, WWD reported.

McLaughlin will “partner with the brand, celebrating the iconic heritage of Dior and supporting Dior Beauty in the fragrance category,” the luxury house said in a statement.

The Gen Z star joins fellow Stranger Things castmates Maya Hawke and Joseph Quinn as Dior ambassadors. The luxury house also recently tapped Jenna Ortega as a face of the brand.

McLoughlin’s popularity soared because of his role as Lucas in the Netflix hit Stranger Things. He previously spoke about his experience with fans being one of the only main Black characters.

The news of his ambassadorship with Dior comes as the 21-year-old is gearing up to appear in Peacock’s upcoming film Shooting Stars about LeBron James’ high school basketball career. McLoughlin also has starring roles in Lee Daniels’ Deliverance and Jeymes Samuel’s The Book of Clarence.

McLoughlin isn’t just an actor. He launched his music career with songs and accompanying music videos for his 2021 single “Neighborhood” and his 2022 release “Soul Travel.”

The 21-year-old is also involved in promoting talent in youth basketball and has his nonprofit organization, Toa Foundation Inc.

“He developed his own nonprofit foundation, Toa Foundation Inc. (meaning ‘evolve’ in Swahili), that supports personal and mental development globally via performing arts and financial literacy,” the statement included. “He is also an active member of the Jr. NBA Leadership Council, the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA, which works to support and improve the youth basketball experience for young players across the country.”
