Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton made a pit stop at a hip-hop radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday to promote an upcoming charity kickball game. While he’s all about the business when it comes to uplifting kids, Cam is a big kid all his own.
The popular Morning Maddhouse show is known for its notorious ‘Maddhouse Sing-A-Long’ each morning, so it was a no-brainer that the NFL MVP partake in the madness.
The song choice? Usher’s “Nice & Slow”.
Cam relied on a sheet of paper with the lyrics, even doing a bit of his own freestyle but he belted out the words in a nice baritone groove.
Big shout out to the radio host, Ms. Jessica. She really held down that sing-a-long and maintained the utmost professionalism.
