Part of Cardi B’s appeal is her relatability, and one of her latest tweets is something we’ve all experienced.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper logged onto Twitter on Thursday, May 17, and described how she’s treated when she looks like a regular schmegular girl from the Bronx versus when she's dressed like the superstar we know and love.
Every time i go to a high end store dressed regular and the sales person treat me shitty! i get reminded of the Selena movie .Then Somebody always comes in like “Cardi I’m your biggest fan“ and they attitude change ????NA BITCH KEEP THE SAME HURRY AND BUY energy ????????????????????????

Almost anyone who grew up in the '90s knows the scene Cardi is talking about, but in case you’re unaware or too young, check it out:
Whether you shop at Bloomingdales or Rainbow, you know shopping while black or a person of color can be a doozy. Many of us also know how satisfying it can be to check a snooty sales rep.
Props to Cardi for calling out this foolishness.
Keep. That. Same. Energy.
