Cardi B is defending herself after her statement against child predators went sideways after trolls got involved. The “WAP” rapper first spoke out on Monday as the Dalai Lama was facing backlash for asking a boy to suck his tongue.

“This world is full of predators,” Cardi tweeted. “They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money, power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t…”

Following Cardi’s statement, critics and trolls resurfaced past allegations of the singer “drugging and robbing” strip club customers.

The 30-year-old Grammy-Award winner then went to Instagram Live to defend herself against people calling her “the wrong messenger.”

“Y’all not gonna keep doing this,” she said. “For y’all to said that I’m some predator… because n****s wanted to buy some p***y from me? … These weren’t no vulnerable men… Did I touch their body?… No. Robbing and raping is two different type of s**ts.”

Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama apologized after the disturbing clip went viral on Monday, saying he “teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras,” TMZ reported.
