If you were hoping to see Cardi B perform at the Super Bowl, you might be out of luck. That is–unless a team hires Colin Kaepernick.
TMZ asked the rapper about performing in a future half-time show, and she was clear about her terms.
“When will we see you perform in a half-time show?” asked a TMZ cameraman.
“When they hire Colin Kaepernick back,” replied Cardi as she walked into a party on Saturday night.
This isn’t the first time Cardi B has expressed her support for the former 49ers quarterback.
Back in September, she posted tweets questioning Kaepernick's lack of a position within the league. Kaepernick, of course, began taking a knee in protest of police brutality in 2016, and was brought on to be the quarterback of any team this year, despite possessing considerable skill according to his peers.
All these football team owners talking and all lat but when is y'all going to hire Colin Kaepernick ?????
