Cardi B went to Twitter earlier this week to show off a close-up photo of the tattoo she first revealed in a video in September. The ink features the name of Cardi’s 18-month-old son, Wave, tattooed in red across her left jawline.

“I love my face tatt,” Cardi tweeted.

Cardi previously said she was thankful she never got a face tattoo as a teenager, Complex reported. But she also said a year ago that that she wants to get Wave’s name tattooed on her face.

“Random but….I’m 1% close to tatting my sons name on my face,” she tweeted in 2022. “I really really wanna do it! I want mine on my jaw.”

In September, Cardi revealed a quick look at her face tattoo while she was talking to fans on Instagram Live. At the same time, The “WAP” singer revealed another ink featuring the name of her 4-year-old daughter, Kulture. The ink is seen on Cardi’s arm, written in a similar style as her face tattoo.

“I tatted my son’s name because I love him. And I tatted my daughter’s name,” the Grammy-winning artist shared in an Instagram video.
