Cardi B is the latest celebrity to have objects thrown at them while performing onstage.
The Bronx native, 30, threw a microphone at a fan who tossed a drink at her during her set at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, People reported.
In the now-viral video, a concertgoer hurled a drink in Cardi‘s direction as she performed her 2018 hit single “Bodak Yellow.” Cardi was shocked at what happened, and her response was priceless.

She then threw the microphone at the woman who tossed the drink, prompting security to swarm the area. As Cardi yelled from the stage, the fan was escorted away.
The woman’s identity and the liquid content inside the cup remain unknown.
Cardi’s microphone was returned, and she continued the show. In addition to the viral incident, this isn’t the first time the rapper had to check someone mid-performance at a concert.
Deadline reported a TikToker shared a video on Friday of Cardi as she tossed her microphone at a DJ after she kept getting cut off during her set. The footage amassed more than 23.8K likes on the video-sharing platform.

Recently, fans have started a trend by throwing objects at artists mid-performance to get a reaction from them. Earlier this month, Blavity reported Latto threatened a fan who tossed an object at her onstage.
The “Put It On Da Floor” artist seemingly responded to the concertgoer during her Rolling Loud performance in Miami.
“Want your ass beat? Throw it again,” Latto questioned. “Throw it again, I’ma beat your ass,” she said as she continued performing.
Lil Nas X had an object thrown at him during his performance at Lollapalooza Stockholm. Meanwhile, singer Beba Rexha was injured after a fan threw his cellphone at her during her concert in New York City last month.
People reported the 33-year-old suffered an eye injury from the incident, and the fan faced several charges, including second-degree harassment.
